Bread Making!

Well, I said I might take pictures of my bread, that's the most exciting that's happened to me, so....there ya go!

Uh oh, a monster is rising!

Holy moly!  I think I hear it growling!

Mikey!  Get me the broom!

Time to roll up my sleeves and do battle.

Not so villainous now, are ya?

In for a final rise, buttered and ready.

Two gorgeous loaves...I guess I didn't even out the dough like I thought I did, lol.

Mmmm...fresh honey wheat bread!  Delish!

UPDATE: I Keep Forgetting To Come Here!

Time flies and yet it goes so slow, doesn't it?

Everything here at home is going fine...a slow and steady pace of monotonous daily chores and errands.  I never seem to be able to catch all the way up, the dishes are done but the floor is a mess, the laundry is folded but needs to be put away, it's always something.  I just don't have the energy lately to deal with it all.  It's overwhelming on a good day.

Mike is still gone, we are waiting to hear whether he will be picked up for Airborne school or not.  I guess his paperwork was submitted a little late by Top, but there is room in the class still, so hopefully he gets in.  That means he'll be home just before JoJo's birthday, toward the end of March.

I am 14 weeks pregnant now, the morning sickness has finally subsided for the most part, and only makes an appearance at night.  I felt the baby move for the first time a few days ago, it's such a strange sensation...just the tiniest of flutters, like a butterfly.  Of course pretty soon those tiny flutters will be replaced with full-on acrobatics and rib checks, so I don't mind the flutters for now!

The boys are doing good, they enjoy the mild winter weather of Hawaii and are able to play outside almost every day for hours.  Today it is 66F and raining, so we are stuck inside, but hopefully we'll make it to the beach this weekend.

Mike took the small camera with him to school, so I only have my large camera, which is why I haven't taken many pictures as of late.  Maybe I'll be able to get a few this weekend.

That's all right now!  I've got a giant loaf of honey-wheat bread rising in the bread-maker, and it smells delicious!  Maybe I'll take pictures of that, lol.
