Picture Sharing Time! Gram's Birthday!

Ok, ok...I know these are from last year...and another birthday has come and gone already...but I just now loaded new editing software on my laptop, so I decided to look these over again.  Only problem is, Corel keeps crashing (grrrrr) so it's taking forever!  These here are snapshots, so color and focus is probably not the best but I thought they were sweet anyway.  I also can't find my monitor calibrator so the colors may or may not look off.  Hopefully I'll get some more done today, but it's frustrating that after 10 minutes or so, the program crashes!

 I can see I also over-sharpened a bit!  It's been so long since I've edited photos I've forgotten how!  Oh well...hopefully it's like riding a bike.  More to come later!

Picture Sharing Time! JoJo's Birthday!

Well another birthday has come and gone...and what a birthday it was!  Six boys came to our house for a sleepover and trip to Dave & Buster's, an arcade.  It was nonstop action from 1400 Saturday until 1100 Sunday.  It was exhausting for Mike and I, but the boys had a blast and that's what matters.

20 Weeks: Halfway Done!!!

I'm such a bad blogger.  Between here and Facebook I always seem to forget the blog.  So here's my update for the last few weeks.

Mike is finally home!!!  Yayayayayayaaaaay!!!!  He came home on March 20th, and it was a welcome reunion after 11 weeks gone.  Of course he's already back to work all day long, but it's still nice to see him in the evenings at least.

JoJo's birthday was yesterday, I can't believe my baby is 13!  What happened to my squirmy little baby?  Now he's growing a mustache and playing the bass guitar!  Say what!?  Nothing like your kids growing older to make you feel old too.  We had a special dinner last night of smoky grilled BBQ ribs, corn muffins, mashed potatoes, and salad, with ice cream for dessert.  His party with be this coming Saturday, so I'll be sure to snap some pictures.

I am now 20 weeks pregnant and the countdown begins.  I can't believe it's halfway over already, where does the time go?  I feel little kicks and movements here and there, but this baby so far isn't nearly as active as the others were.  I have an OB appointment today, so hopefully I'll get an ultrasound ordered.

School is going well, it took me a while to get back into the swing of studying and reading again.  I should be done with my Bachelor's in Nursing my May of next year.  Then it's on to grad school!

Beth and I are going to Vegas for a girls-only weekend in April, I'm so excited I can hardly wait!  We are going to the spa on two days and a show one day, plus shopping, dining, and just relaxing without kids or men!  It will be wonderful...and over too quickly I assume!

In my free time I've been sewing up a stash of newborn diapers, they are so tiny!  I haven't sewn diapers in almost 2 years, so it was a little strange to start again.  It took me a few tries to get the hang of it again, but they're starting to look decent now.  Here are some pics:
