Mike is finally home!!! Yayayayayayaaaaay!!!! He came home on March 20th, and it was a welcome reunion after 11 weeks gone. Of course he's already back to work all day long, but it's still nice to see him in the evenings at least.
JoJo's birthday was yesterday, I can't believe my baby is 13! What happened to my squirmy little baby? Now he's growing a mustache and playing the bass guitar! Say what!? Nothing like your kids growing older to make you feel old too. We had a special dinner last night of smoky grilled BBQ ribs, corn muffins, mashed potatoes, and salad, with ice cream for dessert. His party with be this coming Saturday, so I'll be sure to snap some pictures.
I am now 20 weeks pregnant and the countdown begins. I can't believe it's halfway over already, where does the time go? I feel little kicks and movements here and there, but this baby so far isn't nearly as active as the others were. I have an OB appointment today, so hopefully I'll get an ultrasound ordered.
School is going well, it took me a while to get back into the swing of studying and reading again. I should be done with my Bachelor's in Nursing my May of next year. Then it's on to grad school!
Beth and I are going to Vegas for a girls-only weekend in April, I'm so excited I can hardly wait! We are going to the spa on two days and a show one day, plus shopping, dining, and just relaxing without kids or men! It will be wonderful...and over too quickly I assume!
In my free time I've been sewing up a stash of newborn diapers, they are so tiny! I haven't sewn diapers in almost 2 years, so it was a little strange to start again. It took me a few tries to get the hang of it again, but they're starting to look decent now. Here are some pics:
